Hotel Country Comfort commenced business in 1994 by converting a colonial type cottage into an 8-roomed guest house with all the facilities surrounded by a spacious garden and gained popularity among its many visitors in no time, making it difficult for its management to meet the demand.

In order to meet this challenge, it was expanded with another block of 12 rooms in a three storied building which gave access to its users to have a breathtakingly beautiful view of the entire surrounding area, full with lush green tea plantations, rain forest vegetation covering the hill tops etc.

King size beds with comfortable pillows & mattresses combine to provide the tired guests with a good nights sleep in the spacious rooms in the new wing.These rooms are complete with attached baths fitted with the required modern accessories and comfortable furniture made of the finest Teak wood. Hot water showers in shower cubicles, marble top wash basin & marble toilet fittings – all contribute to add value to quality.

T.V, Telephone with IDD facilities & piped music all assist the visitor to have an enjoyable stay.

The 8 rooms in the old wing maintains their own quality with comfortable double beds in spotlessly clean rooms with attached toilet facilities complete with hold & cold water. Visitors who are desirous of having an undisturbed holiday opt for these rooms, in this homely atmosphere.

The 40 – cover restaurant comprising the Bar complete with all brands of local and foreign liquor and the dining area is unique in its design and construction. All types of cuisine Western, Eastern, Chinese etc are being served to suit your taste-buds, but the traditional Sri Lankan “Rice & Curry” menu maintains a unique position with its mouth watering taste and is in great demand by the many visitors including the writers from many travel publications viz lonely planet, ..………, etc.

The Business Center, with its own identity provides the enterprising businessman with internet, E-mail, IDD, Fax, Computer facilities to attend to his many duties during his sojourn.

Facilities for indoor games such as Carrom, chess are available while those wishing to engage in group activities can be provided facilities in the public playground just opposite the hotel.

The terraced garden complete with colorful stocks of roses, Geraniums, Pitunias in large beds not only is pleasing to the visitors eyes but also helps in having a pollution-free environment.
